The following person(s) may be eligible to receive media passes:
Print and Electronic Media Representatives. You may be asked to submit originals of two (2) by-lined articles from the past four (4) months and a copy of the publication.
Radio and TV Media Representatives. You may be asked to submit two recordings of reports from the past four (4) months.
Photographers and Videographers. You may be asked to submit photos and (or) footage with credits of the client company.
Online media must meet the following requirements:
The web publication must belong to a registered media organization, with a verifiable non-web address and telephone number.
The online journal must have a substantial amount of original news content, commentary or analysis on news worthy events.
Applicants must have an established record of having written news pieces. You may be asked for copies of recently published articles with your by-line. These samples must be unaltered clippings or media content from a recognized organization.
All new and first time applications will be vetted by The Guyana Press Association before approval.
