Ministry of Social Protection, Georgetown, June 23, 2016 – Recently while on a visit to Europe, the Honourable Mr. Keith Scott, Minister within the Ministry of Social Protection met with Her Excellency Ms. Christine NKULIKIYINKA the Ambassador of Rwanda and was engaged in discussions which were designed to augment the relationship between that country and Guyana.
At the moment, the two nations intend to explore avenues which can be of mutual interest and benefit through co-operations and possible exchange programs of every sort.
Notwithstanding the meeting between Minister Scott and Ambassador Ms. Christine NKULIKIYINKA can be considered a preliminary one, it is submitted that their discussion were deep, rich, far reaching and showed that great promise lies ahead for the two countries who have already begun to cement their relationship at the international level.
Minister Scott is so enthuastic about the future relationship between the two countries that he has in confident of a long and fruitful bond on the basis of similarities in their socio-economic and political histories.
